The 1096M Heavy Duty Spring Action Door Closer provides closing assistance for hard to close doors. It can be configured for left and right handed doors and is designed to work with cam rise hinges and fixed pivot hinges. The aluminum body construction offers improved corrosion resistance and is ideal for cooler and freezer applications.
• Torque adjusting feature allows incremental adjustment using
a 3/16” wrench (1096L) or 5/8” wrench (1096M)
• Torque arm pivots on a central shaft with nylon bushings
to provide smooth, quiet transmission of torque
• Torque-limiting clutch protects against over torquing the
torsion spring
• Roller strike capture wire form retains power arm
for safe operation
